O’spa heat pumps are simply the most energy efficient way of heating your hot tub or swim spa water. This 5kW air source heat pump has the ability to work all year-round saving you up to 70% on running costs.

Air source heat pumps work by extracting heat from the ambient air and then transferring that heat to warm the water of your hot tub or swim spa. This process is possible even in minus temperatures and is up to 13 times more efficient than the spas in-built heating element.

At cooler temperatures, it stands to reason that there is less heat available in the air and therefore the COP figure will be lower.
